Biography

Sarah Dacey is the current Girls Director of Coaching. Originally from Framingham, Sarah graduated in 1993 as a Parade All American. She played for the Bolts from 1990-1994, helping her team to win the first ever Bolts USYSA National Championship in 1994 as the first team from Massachusetts to accomplish that feat. Sarah was named the tournament MVP. Having learned under arguably the best coach in women’s soccer, Anson Dorrance, Sarah played collegiately at UNC and helped her team win 3 NCAA National Championships. She was an Honorable All America her senior season. Sarah also excelled on the women’s lacrosse team at UNC, helping her team to two NCAA Final Fours, was a two time All-ACC selection, two time IWLCA All America, and was also team MVP in 1997and 1998.

After her collegiate career Sarah went on to coach soccer as an assistant at Boston College, Providence College, and the University of Tennessee. She then played professionally in 2001 and 2002 in the WUSA for the Carolina Courage and the Boston Breakers. Most recently Sarah served as the Head Soccer Coach and Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Babson College from 2005-2010. In 2011 Sarah was an assistant coach at Boston College helping the team to its first ever NCAA Final Four and a national ranking of # 3 in the country.
