Why is there an annual fund, and what does my annual fund gift support?

Your annual fund gift supports all aspects of FCGB's mission. Your gift helps recruit and retain the best coaches available, and offer financial aid to talented dedicated student-athletes that enhance the experience for all our players. Moreover, it allows us to utilize the best facilities available in the Boston area.

Why is my gift important?

The Board is committed to improving players’ experiences and executing FCGB’s mission. All gifts make a huge difference.  We are small compared to most non-profits, so even small gifts go a long way to providing the support we need to provide an excellent experience for your son or daughter.  Moreover, our coaches see the number of gifts, not the amount, as an indication of their work and parent support. 

What type of gift does FCGB usually receive, and do small gifts make a difference?

The gift itself is more important than the size of the gift, and we frequently receive $10 to $20 donations in addition to $100 to $5,000 gifts.  The gap between revenue from tuition and costs is about $200 per player.  Gifts of all size matter and help achieve FCGB’s mission.
